Annual Recertification
What to Know Before Starting
What is Annual Recertification (AR)?
Every year, as a tenant living at this property, you are required to provide updated documentation for the income and assets of your household. Completing this process is an essential part of your lease agreement that allows you to live at this affordable housing property.
Do I have to do the AR if I recertified with CDC or my subsidy provider?
Yes.
You are required, per your lease agreement, to complete an annual recertification every year by reporting your income and household composition and any other information required at the date specified by the Landlord, in addition to your recertification with CDC or your subsidy provider.
Please read the instructions carefully for each section, then submit your forms and documentation when finished.

ATTENTION TENANT
This is the only online annual recertification for Rutland Road Houses.
The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program is dedicated to the development and preservation of affordable housing communities. As per your lease agreement, maintaining eligibility for residency in this community requires the completion of an annual certification process to update your household's income and asset information.
The annual certification process, mandated by LIHTC and HUD regulations, is crucial for continuing your residency in this affordable housing community. To comply with these regulations, you are required to submit documentation verifying your household's income and assets to the management. This may include:
-
Receipts or paychecks/paystubs from employment, unemployment, self-employment, Social Security, SSI, welfare, pension funds, alimony or child-support payments, educational status etc.
-
Information regarding savings and checking accounts, money market accounts, trusts, CDs, stocks/bonds, IRA/Keogh or other retirement/investment accounts, etc.
Please note that failure to complete an annual recertification and provided your household's updated income and asset information every year is a violation of your lease agreement and may result in legal action and the termination of your tenancy at this property.
